Sidney ‘Sonny’ J. Champagne Jr.

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Sidney Joseph “Sonny” Champagne Jr., 76, who passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

  Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. on Monday.

Father Bill Melancon officiated at the Funeral Mass.

Nolan ‘Boo’ Champagne Jr.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Nolan “Boo” Champagne Jr., 69, who passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

A rosary was prayed by Fr. Michael Champagne at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Christopher J. Williams

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25 at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Lafayette for Christopher “Lobb” James Williams, 36, who died on Sept. 17, 2021.

He is survived by his parents, George and Cheryl Williams; his children, Charisma and Jayla Williams; and his biological mother, Adrienne Moreland.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pamela N. Hebert

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Sept. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Pamela Naquin Hebert, 60, who died on Sept. 14, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Hebert; her mother, Georgia Knott Naquin; her sister, Brenda N. Fisher; daughter, Amie Johannes; sons, Kristopher Johannes and Charles Hebert;  daughters Mrs. Kory (Dawn) Womack and Mrs. Donnye (Desiree) Thomas; and 12 grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Whitney Cormier

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Sept. 17 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Whitney Cormier, 55, who died on Sept. 12, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Octavia Ann Ledet; sons, Allen and Justin  Ledet; daughters, Whitney and La’Tyra Ramar; brother, Jason  Cormier; sisters, Josephine and Jennifer Cormier; and seven grandchildren.
