Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services were held on March 24 at Bethlehem Baptist Church for John Allen Batiste, 73, who died on March 20, 2023.
He is survived by his brothers, Maxie Jr., Rocky, Alfred and Joseph Batiste; and sisters, Stella Caddie, Dorothy Charles, Mildred Batiste and Hilda Batiste.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 25at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Dalton Joseph Benjamin, 76, who died on March 17, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Sonja Narcisse Benjamin; daughters, Tonia Williams, Elke Benjamin and Sharniece Comeaux; step-daughters, Briana James and MacKenzie James; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene, Donald, Ronald, Alton and Raymond Benjamin; and sisters, Barbara Martin, Shirley Thibodeaux, Brenda Jones and Carolyn McCain.
Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Robert “Grandpa” Huval, 79, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at his residence.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Deacon Butch Hebert will officiate the memorial service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard No. 2 Cemetery.

A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Father Garrett McIntyre officiated at the funeral service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
