St. Martinville – Funeral services are pending for Francis “Lightning” J. Narcisse, Jr., 87, who died on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

New Iberia – Private graveside services will be held for Donald Joseph Webre, 88, who passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at River Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.
Mr. Webre was born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana on August 7, 1934, to the late Wilfred and Noelie Thibodeaux Webre. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, and spent time in Germany during his tour. He was a retired refinery worker, and will be laid to rest with his parents at St. Bernard No. 2 Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Breaux Bridge – A Catholic Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 1 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and burial at Bethlehem Baptist graveyard in Breaux Bridge.
Joey, 66, died on March 17, 2023.
Joey is survived by a wife, Roxanne Lewis; two children, Jay Ledet-Black and Cassandra Ledet; three grandchildren, Liam, Liyah and Londyn; and five siblings, Wilbert Ledet, John Ledet, Otis Ledet, Gerald Ledet and Sarah Fuselier.
Theresa ‘Maw-T’ Scoggin, 71, of Butte LaRose passed away on March 27, 2023. Born November 10, 1951 in Houston, Texas.
She is proceeded in death by her husband James “Pop Jim” Scoggin, and her parents, Tony and Margarette Allegretti.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on March 24 at Pellerin Funeral Home for John Reed, 70, who died on March 19, 2023.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce and Christopher Reed; the mother of his children, Violet Reed; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell, Charles, Patrick and Benny Reed.
