Rose LeBlanc Green

Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Rose Ann LeBlanc Green, who passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.  

Visiting hours were observed at Pellerin Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.  

A rosary was prayed by her Theresian sisters at 6 p.m. on Thursday.  

Jackie P. Segura

St. Martinville A funeral service was held on Nov. 27, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for MSGT Jackie Patrick Segura, 82, who died on Nov. 22, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret P. Segura; sons, Terry and Mark Segura; daughters, Mrs. Felix (Bethany) Duplechain and Mrs. Jeffery (Robynne) Laperouse; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and sister, Sonja Saddler.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Byron J. Degeyter II

Breaux Bridge - A funeral service was held on Nov. 30, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Byron James Degeyter II, 38, who died on Nov. 22, 2021.

He is survived by his father, Byron J. Degeyter I; mother, Jennie Stelly Degeyter; sister, Mrs. Kendall (Brandy) Broussard; paternal grandmother, Alice Degeyter; and maternal grandmother, Theresa Joyce Stelly.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sue Alice Byron

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Dec. 2 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Sue Byron, 79, who died on Nov. 26, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Norris Joseph Byron; sons, Berchman and Richard Byron; daughters, Mrs. Nolan (Sharron) Doucet, Mrs. Bryon (Sandra) Patin, Mrs. Tony (Janice) Deshotel, Bernadette Byron and Mrs. Clyde (Helen) LeBlanc; sister, Eva Dell LeBlanc; 21grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lolly Brasseaux Jr.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held  on Nov. 27, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Lolly Brasseaux Jr., 65, who died on Nov. 25, 2021.

He is survived by his sons, Chad and Blaine Brasseaux; three grandhildren; brothers, Scott and Craig Brasseaux; and sister, Mrs. Lane (Tina) Kidder.
