Alena Blanchard Belaire
Breaux Bridge – A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Alena Blanchard Belaire, 90, who passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Jerome O. Thomas Sr.
Breaux Bridge - A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Jerome Octave Thomas Sr., 63, who passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.
He is survived by his son, Jerome Thomas Jr.; daughter, Kenya Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Kenward (Sandra) Polk, Mrs. Joseph (Emily) Thibodeaux and Mrs. Clifton (Ada) Valsin; and brother, Michael Thomas.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mazel W. Sam
St. Martinville – A funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Mazel Washington Sam, 89, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Kathleen) Landry; two sons, Floyd and Ervin Sam; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Sam.

Gregory J. Sam
St. Martinville - A funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Gregory Joseph Sam, 58, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020.
He is survived by his son, Kyler Sam; two brothers, Floyd and Ervin Sam; and his sister, Mrs. Ronald (Kathleen) Landry.
