St. Martinville – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Barbara Ann Leon, 76, who died on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021.
She is survived by her three sons, Stoney Jr., Jerome and Jermaine Trahan; daughters, Anna, Bridget Trahan of Lafayette, Jennifer and Sherry Trahan, and Mrs. Ravis (Teflan) Martinez; sisters, Mrs. Murphy (Marie) Simon, and Theresa, Linda, Dorothy and Jessie Leon, and Mrs. Stanley (Dianney) White.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 22, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Jimmy Jones, 56, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
He is survived by his brothers, Emile Sr. and Alvin Jones); and sisters, Laura Brooks and Florence White.

She is survived by her daughters, Carlton (Dr. Annette) Lee, Belinda M. Smith, and Melinda, Lisa and Leslie Fontenette; four grandchildren; and brothers, Floyd and Paul Fontenette; sister, Mrs. Michael (Prenella) Kately.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Menard Smith; son, Nary Smith, Jr.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence, Randy and Donald Smith; and sisters, Shirley Simon, Mrs. Calvin (Alfreda) Mallery, Mrs. Lovelace (Octavia) Broussard, Mrs. George (Jenella) Malveaux, and Prenella and Mary Ann Smith.
