Francis Reed

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Monday, Jan. 18, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Francis Reed, 72, who passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Menard Reed; daughter, Mrs. Michael (Rachael) Lemoine; sister, Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Butler; brother, Ellis Reed; and two grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gertrude B. Lancon

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Gertrude B. Lancon, 90, who passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Father Bill Melancon officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

William Bryson Bulliard

William Bryson Bulliard of St. Martinville departed this world on Sunday, December 27, 2020, from his ‘heaven on earth,’ his beloved camp in the Basin.
Bryson was born to Leo “Billy” Bulliard Jr. and Tullie “Kool” Ozenne Bulliard on January 3, 1953, in St. Martinville. He attended St. Martinville High School and after graduation began a career in the oil field that lasted 45 years. Bryson’s work took him to many places around the world, including the Middle East, South America and Alaska. But while Bryson enjoyed traveling to new places, his home was always on the Bayou Teche.

Robin A. Theriot

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 8, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Robin Andrew Theriot, 20, who passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
Robin served in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his mother, Crystal David; father, Robin Melancon; two brothers, Dakota Savoie and Trey Melancon; three sisters, Crisdany and Emily David, and Shelby Way; and grandparents, Mike and Lisa David, Mazel Vicknair, Oreste Theriot and Theresa Latiolais.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Nathan L. Patin

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, Jan. 7, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Nathan L. Patin, 82, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
He is survived by his son, Randy Patin; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Ann Patin; and two sons, Ted and Gary Patin.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
