St. Martinville – A Memorial Mass will be held on Sept. 24 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Lenzey Paul Lawrence, 73, who died on Sept. 14, 2022.
He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Anthony J., John and Euris Lawrence; and sisters, Mary A. Thomas, Mrs. Joseph (Christine) Berard and Mary L. Green.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Sidney P. Vincent, 98, who passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
Visitation at the funeral home was on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A rosary was prayed at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Rev. Jason Vidrine officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Victoria Vincent and Angele Bulliard. His godchildren, Sharelle Hebert Thibodeaux and Peggy Vincent Sonnier, served as Gift Bearers.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 4p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for William “Bill” Wiltz Landry, 86, who passed away at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Visitation was at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A rosary was prayed at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Bill Melancon officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Breaux Bridge – A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Lennis “Chute” Huval, 82, who passed away at his home.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Reader will be Bess Robicheaux.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Shirley Thomas Romero, 85, who passed away on September 17, 2022, after a brief illness with her family by her side.
Visitation will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. It will continue on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
