Obituaries

Cecilia – A Graveside Service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at St. Joseph Cemetery for Lester Louis Latiolais, 88, who passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020, surrounded by his family at his home in Denham Springs, Louisiana, after a lengthy illness.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Deacon Ken Soignier officiated at the graveside service.

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Katie R. Guidry, 64, who passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Msgr. Jefferson DeBlanc will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.

Cecilia – Private services are being held for Rose Aimee Dupuis, 88, who passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Rose was born March 4, 1932 in Arnaudville. She was an accomplished seamstress and did beautiful work. Rose enjoyed painting ceramics, line dancing and going to La Poussiere. After her husband passed away, she became a member of the Widows of the Teche.
