Sean Errol Faulk

A private family gathering will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, to celebrate the life of Sean Errol Faulk, 39, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, July 27, 2020, at his residence in San Antonio, Texas.
A native of Cecilia, La. and longtime resident of Houston, Texas, Sean recently moved to San Antonio where he was a Founding Teacher and Kinder Literacy Teacher at the Promesa Academy Charter School. Sean graduated high school from the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in 1999 then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts from LSU in 2005.
Sean’s teaching career began in 2009 as a substitute teacher in the Conroe Independent School District and quickly moved to full time teaching in the Houston ISD. Sean also spent nine years as an Adjunct Professor at the Houston Community College. After receiving his Master of Science – Curriculum and Instruction, Sean then played a vital role in setting up the curriculum and foundation for a brand new school, the Promesa Academy.
When not teaching, the things Sean loved to do the most was to travel and read. Sean also loved to write and has three books published along with two short stories.
He is survived by his grandmother, Katherine Daigle; mother, Karen Daigle Lundberg and husband Buz; father, Gene Faulk and wife Mary; brother, Tyson Faulk; aunts, Jeannine Paul and husband Richard, Danielle Fletcher and husband Lynn; niece, Paisley Faulk; and two cousins, Jesse Walczak and Steven Fletcher. Sean’s sweet soul also leaves behind an amazing amount of loyal and loving friends and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, Edwin Daigle; paternal grandparents, Edith and Preston Faulk; and uncle, Brian Daigle.
