Rose Aimee Dupuis

Cecilia – Private services are being held for Rose Aimee Dupuis, 88, who passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Rose was born March 4, 1932 in Arnaudville. She was an accomplished seamstress and did beautiful work. Rose enjoyed painting ceramics, line dancing and going to La Poussiere. After her husband passed away, she became a member of the Widows of the Teche.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three sons, Johnny (Barbara) Dupuis of Dalton, Mass., Charlie (Jessica) Dupuis Jr. of Breaux Bridge and Eric (Hope) Dupuis of Opelousas; four daughters, Adeline (Larry) Lafleur of Whiteville, La. Flora (Allen) Robert of Breaux Bridge, Sheila (Niles) Fleege of Placerville, Cal. and Aimee (Shane) Guidry of Breaux Bridge; brother, Sosthene (Linda) Zeringue; two sisters, Betty (Marsh) Pronneke and Anita Blanchard; 11 grandchildren, Paul Dupuis, Keith (Anne) Dupuis, Kerman Lafleur, Emma (Ted) Vedrines, Allison (Kyle) Bolivar, Antoinette (Blaine) Brasseaux, Olivia (Shannon) Mastalez, Randy Guidry, Zoe Guidry, Katherine (Paul) Richard and Aaron Dupuis; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Joseph Dupuis Sr.; parents, Abel and Jeanne Schexnayder Zeringue; and one brother, Roy Zeringue.
Pallbearers will be Kerman Lafleur, Randy Guidry, Aaron Dupuis, Allen Robert, Blaine Brasseaux and Shannon Mastalez.
Honorary pallbearer will be Shane Guidry.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
