Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Roland Ronald Theriot, 75, who passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Theriot was a case manager at the Council of Aging until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed spending time outside doing carpentry work and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two sisters, Ramona Baumbree and Norma “Gennie” (Lloyd) Breaux all of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armogene and Mathilda Romero Theriot; brother, Nolan Joseph Theriot; and his niece, Kerry Theriot.
Pallbearers were Warren Baumbree Jr., Bryan Theriot, Lloyd Breaux II, Gene Michael Breaux and Shane Richard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
