Peggy Louise Theriot

St. Martinville – Peggy Theriot, a native of St. Martinville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14 at Landmark of Acadiana.  

Peggy was an amazing sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She knew no strangers and helped anyone she could.

She is survived by her brother Karl (Donna), sisters Sue Trail and Barbara Theriot. Her nieces Denise (Dan) Mertz, Katherine Trail  Freeman, Lindsey (Cynthia) Trail, Buddy (Shelley) Theriot, Gregory (Brooke) Theriot, Nicholas (Katie) Theriot and Christopher (Victoria) Theriot. Her great nieces and nephews Natalee Lessert, Benjamin Lessert, Asa Freeman, Ian McDaniel, Samantha Trail Menard, Cruz Trail, Nathan Theriot, Jonah Theriot, Ket Pham, Aria Theriot, Griffin Theriot, Wesley Theriot, Dawson Theriot and Canyon Theriot.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Edna Theriot, maternal grandparents Rodolph and Ada Sieber, paternal grandparents Eugene and Lucy Theriot and a baby sister Mary.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Peggy willed her body to Tulane Medical Center. No services planned as per her wishes. Special thanks to Landmark for the excellent care to given to Peggy during her time there.
