Loula Mae T. Lasseigne

St. Martinville – A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at St. Michael Cemetery for Loula Mae T. Lasseigne, 98, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
Loula was born March 13, 1922, in Parks. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family unconditionally. Loula enjoyed cooking, baking and being with her family. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank Landmark Nursing Home for all the love and care they have given her over all these years, and a special thanks to Lourdes Hospice for their care and support during this time.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Sidney Lasseigne; sons, Linton Lasseigne (Sandra), Lawrence Lasseigne (Judy) and Mark Lasseigne; daughter, Sydney Mae Crawford (Dave); sister, Hazel Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Toni L. Freeman (Daniel), Brooke L. Segura (Brandon), Marcy Lasseigne, Megan Tardiff (Josh), Paula Johnson (Frank), Valerie Johnson (Robert), Lance Lasseigne (Tori), Emily Crawford and Andrea Crawford; and her eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexie and Eunice Barras Thibodeaux; brothers, Marshall Thibodeaux, Lloyd Thibodeaux and Wilton Thibodeaux; sister, Emily Guidry; and her daughter-in-law, Elaine Lasseigne.
Pallbearers were Linton Lasseigne, Lawrence Lasseigne, Mark Lasseigne, Dave Crawford, Chester Guidry and Brandon Segura.
Honorary pallbearers were Lance Lasseigne, Frank Johnson, Robert Johnson, Daniel Freeman, Shannon Choplin and Josh Tardiff.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
