Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Lisa Faye Hebert, 58, who passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at her residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. on Monday by Wildie D. Roberts.
Rev. Brian Taylor officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Lisa was an honor graduate of Cecilia High School – Class of 1978. Her 40-plus years career in banking began right after high school. She was a Vice President and Regional Branch Manager at F-M Bank in Breaux Bridge. Lisa was loved dearly by her “F-M Bank family” and her community.
As a pastime, she loved spending time outdoors, fishing, traveling, going dancing, working out at the gym, and was an avid fan of L.S.U. sports. Lisa loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. Lisa was beautiful and caring woman whose smile would light up room. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving son, Ty Collette and wife Brittany of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Easton and Cruz Collette of Breaux Bridge; her parents, Wesley and Mary Lou Taylor Hebert of Cecilia; and her brothers, Jody Hebert and wife Betty of Arnaudville, and Neal Hebert and wife Stacie of Cecilia.
Pallbearers were Neal, Jody and Ory Hebert, Kim Hebert and Eric and Justin McManus.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
