Breaux Bridge – A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Laura Ann White, 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Lafayette surrounded by her family.
Deacon Butch Hebert of St. Bernard Catholic Church will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church (Inside of the Community Center) in Breaux Bridge.
Laura was born on March 27, 1966, in Lafayette, Louisiana and she was lifelong resident of St. Martin Parish. Laura was a graduate of Breaux Bridge High School Class of 1984. She had a love for life and always managed to see the good in people.
Laura will be remembered as a kind, loving and gentle spirit who never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her husband, Ronnie White; her children, Alan White and David White; her parents, Leroy Theriot and Verlie Johnson Theriot; her maternal grandmother, Hazel Hebert Johnson; her grandchildren, Rose White, Behr White, Levi Lindsey and Athena Lindsey; her siblings, Karen T. Girouard, Helen T. Baudoin and Richard Theriot; and her God children, Nicole W. Touchette, Ian Girouard and Jordan Theriot.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Wilbert Johnson; her paternal grandmother, Emerite Bijeaux Theriot; and her paternal grandfather, Lucien Theriot.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jeanne Theriot, Jody Rossen MD, and Sudhir Kumar Aggarwal MD, as well as the many other doctors and nurses who helped Laura and her family throughout her long battle with cancer.
