St. Martinville – James Brian Akers, 80, died on Aug. 31, 2022.
Survivors include his sister, Audrey A. Viator; and a brother, Donald D. Akers Sr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Evangeline Funeral Home is in charge of arragements.
