Inez Rita Serpas Mouton

Breaux Bridge – A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 for Inez Rita Serpas Mouton, 96, who passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by loved ones.
Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the graveside service.
Inez was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana for most of her life before she was married. She worked for the FBI for many years, until becoming an amazing homemaker.
Inez was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, where she often did volunteer work. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and traveling. Inez was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Ramon Mouton (Delilah) and Mark E. Mouton; daughter, Elizabeth Mouton Gardener (Sam); grandchildren, Michael R. Mouton (Kaela), Michelle M. Fuselier (Cobi), Debbie Kuhn, Sidney Kuhn, Jolie Gardener Mixon (Ean), Lizzie G. Herter (Tommy), Sammy Gardener (Tracy), Jennifer Mouton and Amanda Mouton; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ramon A Mouton, MD; daughter, Marie Mouton Kuhn; son, David B. Mouton; and parents, Opry James Serpas and Jeanne Serpas.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
