Betty Jane Robicheaux
Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Betty Jane Robicheaux, 59, who passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Kevin Johnson Jr. and Gift Bearers will be Dalaisha Robicheaux, Daine Lewis and Cameron Livings.
Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia.
Betty was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and watching television. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Emily Borel Robicheaux; brothers, Joseph L. (Dolly) Robicheaux, Jerry Robicheaux, Jessie Robicheaux, and Gary Robicheaux; sisters, Mary Alice (Alvin) Lewis, Katherine (Kevin) Johnson, Margaret (Travis) Anthony and Theresa (Michael) Livings; godmother, Eula Mae Calais; godchildren, Krystal Noel and Cameron Livings; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Linton Robicheaux; maternal grandparents, George and Enola Calais Borel; and paternal grandparents, Lenny and Maudry Gordon Robicheaux.
Pallbearers will be K. Johnson, Noah Livings, Kobe Anthony, Joseph Robicheaux III, Isaiah Wiltz, Cameron Livings and Dortavean Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and brothers-in-law, Donald Williams, Ronald Williams, Able Borel, Albert Robicheaux, Roland Robicheaux, David Robicheaux, Moses Robicheaux, Russell Williams, Paul Dural, Joseph Johnson and Isaiah Wiltz.
The family would like to give special thanks to Donald and Ronald Williams and Judy Borel for the care and support given to Betty in her time of need.
