Annette Badeaux LeBlanc

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was celebrated at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Annette Badeaux LeBlanc, 89, who passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service. 

Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Annette was a member of the St. Bernard Church Ladies Altar Society. She loved being outdoors, spending time in her garden, reading, baking, and visiting with her family and friends. The greatest and most special joys in her life were her grandchildren. 

Annette will be lovingly remembered for her kindness and all the sweet treats she made, especially her Honey Bars that were made with love. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane LeBlanc Huval (Robert) and Bonnie LeBlanc Welch (Steven); sister, Jeanette Trosclair (Jesse); three grandchildren, Donna Thibodeaux, Tricia Haywood (Larry) and Karen Venable (Robert); great-grandchildren, Danah Thibodeaux, Shane Haywood, Mallory Haywood, Lauren Haywood and Bailey Rose Venable; and her great-great- grandchildren, Oliver “Ollie” Louviere, Tanner Poulan and soon-to-arrive Rilee Jean Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy LeBlanc; parents, Alley and Martha Thibodeaux Badeaux; sisters, Mae Evelyn Patin and Hazel Mae Melancon; her brother and his wife, Clayton and Lucille Badeaux; and her great-grandson, Dayne Thibodeaux. 

Pallbearers were Danah Thibodeaux, Shane Haywood, Steve Welch, Larry Haywood, Braylon Savoie and Robbie Melancon.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Venable, Robert Huval and Ronnie Trosclair.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
